Nexom Trading & Contracting W.L.L. (“Nexom”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered in the State of Qatar. We are responsible for the personal data described in this notice.

We process personal data in line with Qatar's Law No. 13 of 2016 on the Protection of Personal Data Privacy (PDPPL).

We collect personal data only when you give it to us or when it is needed to run the website safely:

• Inquiry and quotation requests. Your name, company, email address, phone number (optional), your message, and the products, quantities and notes in your inquiry cart.
• Spec sheet downloads. Your name, company, email address and phone number (optional), plus which product document you downloaded and when.
• Emails and calls. Whatever you choose to share when you write to us or call us, including drawings, BOQs and project details.
• Abuse prevention. When you send a form we use your IP address and email address to limit repeated submissions. We store these only as one-way scrambled (hashed) values that expire automatically. If bot protection is switched on, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form was sent by a person.
• On your device. To save you retyping, your browser remembers the details you entered for spec sheet downloads in its local storage. This stays on your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
• Technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the service running and secure.

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell personal data.

• To reply to your inquiry, prepare quotations and follow up on your request.
• To give you the product documents you asked for.
• To keep a record of our business communications with you and your company.
• To protect the website and our inbox from spam, fraud and misuse.
• To meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations in Qatar.

We process this data because you asked us to act on your request, because it is needed for a contract or a quotation with you, or because we have a legitimate business interest in running a secure website. We will only send you marketing if you ask for it, and you can opt out at any time.

Your data is used by the Nexom team that handles your request. We also rely on trusted service providers who process data on our behalf and only under our instructions:

• Website and database hosting to run this website and store form submissions.
• Cloudflare for file storage (R2) and, when enabled, bot protection (Turnstile).
• Resend to deliver emails sent by the website.

Some of these providers may store or process data outside Qatar. Where that happens we take reasonable steps so your data stays protected as required by the PDPPL. We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example to a competent authority in Qatar.

• Inquiries, download requests and related emails: for as long as we need them to handle your request and our business relationship, and then for up to three years after our last contact, unless the law requires longer.
• Abuse prevention records: these expire within 24 hours and are then removed automatically.
• Records we must keep for accounting or legal reasons: for the period the law requires.

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our content management system, private storage for gated documents and short-lived download links. Only people who need the data to do their job can see it. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive personal data through the forms.

Under the PDPPL you can ask us to:

• tell you whether we process your personal data, and give you a copy of it;
• correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete your data when we no longer need it or you withdraw your consent;
• stop or object to processing that is not necessary for the purpose it was collected for;
• withdraw any consent you gave us, at any time.

To use any of these rights, email info@nexom.qa with the subject “Privacy request”. We may need to confirm your identity before we act, and we will reply within a reasonable time.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in Qatar, the National Cyber Security Agency.
